Flows

A Flow is a graph of steps that Xura walks to accomplish something. Each Flow has:
  • A trigger — Manual or Scheduled.
  • Data nodes — query your connected data.
  • Analyse / Agent nodes — reason over the data.
  • An Approval gate — pause for human OK before side-effect actions.
  • Action nodes — invoke tools (Gmail, Jira, HubSpot, MCP, etc.).
Flows are visible, editable, and re-runnable. You can:
  • Author one from scratch in AI Studio → Flows.
  • Save an ad-hoc run as a Flow — the exact steps the AI took become the graph.
  • Plan a Flow from a natural-language description using the built-in planner.
See What are Flows for the deep dive.

Priorities

Priorities are the personal goals you set during onboarding — things like “track hiring pipeline” or “chase overdue invoices”. Each priority has a preference:

View

You want to see the data. Clicking a View priority runs a dashboard.

Act

You want automation. Clicking an Act priority opens a Flow prefilled from the priority text.

Both

See and act. Dashboard first, then Xura offers to save it as a Flow.
Priorities appear as cards on the home page and drive Xura’s recommendation engine.

Signals

Signals is competitor & market intelligence. Xura runs a web-search-backed research pass over your configured competitors and returns findings tagged by category (product, pricing, funding, hiring, GTM, market). Key knobs:
  • Window — how far back to look (30 / 90 / 180 / 365 days).
  • Sources — preferred domains (e.g. fiercepharma.com for pharma).
  • 24h cooldown — one run per day per user to keep token costs sane.
See Signals overview.

AI Studio

The control room. Every setup task lives here:
  • Data sources — files, HubSpot, connectors.
  • Governance — column classification, entity meanings.
  • Entities & relationships — the semantic layer over your data.
  • LLM Configuration — API key, model preferences.
  • Tools / Skills / MCPs — what actions Xura can take.
  • Flows — the automation graph editor.
  • Agents — reusable AI helpers with scoped tools.
If something feels missing in the main app, it’s probably a config in AI Studio.

How they fit together

  1. Set up your data + priorities in AI Studio and onboarding.
  2. Ask questions on the home page — get dashboards back.
  3. Save useful runs as Flows — get automation.
  4. Read Signals every morning for market context.
  5. Xura generates Tasks from flows + recommendations, sitting in your inbox.
