Adding an Agent node
Toolbar →+ agent → the node lands on the canvas → click it → Inspector shows a dropdown of your saved Agents.
What happens at runtime
When the Flow reaches an Agent node:- Xura loads the Agent’s system prompt + skill fragments.
- Constructs a scoped Claude turn with the Agent’s allowed tools.
- Passes the previous step’s output as context.
- Runs the turn, streams progress into the current stage panel.
- Passes the Agent’s output to the next node.
Interpolation
Agent node config accepts{{prev.field}} interpolation, same as action nodes. Useful to pass structured context.
Why use an Agent node vs raw tool calls
- Reuse — one Agent, many Flows.
- Guardrails — the Agent’s system prompt enforces boundaries.
- Tool scoping — limits blast radius.
