# Data sources

> Manage the files and integrations Xura queries against.

The Data Sources tab in AI Studio is the single view of every source Xura reads from.

## What you see

Each source card shows:

* **Name / filename** — for uploads, the file name.
* **Row count** — total rows indexed.
* **Status** — Indexed (green) or Indexing (spinner).
* **Last updated** — when the source was refreshed.

## Actions

* **Upload** — add a new CSV / Excel file.
* **Open** — inspect columns, sample rows, and open the Governance panel.
* **Refresh** — re-parse and re-index (e.g., after a HubSpot property change).
* **Delete** — removes the source. Xura can no longer query it. Doesn't touch your original file.

## Storage

* Uploaded files live on Xura's server (encrypted at rest, per-user isolation).
* HubSpot data is never stored — every query hits the HubSpot API live.
* MCP-connected data lives on your MCP server; Xura only reads.
